Ian is a hands-on and highly approachable director who immerses himself within every stage of development, from initial vision to refinement. He works closely alongside the design team, conferring with the architects and engineers to conceptualise project plans. In addition to his more creative responsibilities, Ian is an indispensable co-ordinator of action, overseeing subcontractors and guiding the internal construction team both on-site and within the office. His knowledge spills over into the construction methods used and the acquirement of specialist materials for each home. Ian’s genial nature and pragmatic attitude not only provides his team with continued assurance and direction, but also allows him to form great relationships with clients and ensure that their time with Claremont Finesse is both enjoyable and stress-free.

Tom manages the crucial commencement and completion stages of each development. He handles the complex legal processes across each phase of the build and is in control of land acquisition for prospective projects. Tom’s confident and attentive personality makes him the perfect communicator. As the company’s main interactor with the top estate agents in the industry, Tom is an expert at verbalising details to guarantee a project’s professional finish. His astute leadership skills enable him to effectively deal with the direction of the company’s external investment portfolio. Tom also works alongside agents to plan sale particulars for each development and ensures that they all meet the exceptionally high standards and calibre of Claremont Finesse.

Since joining in 2006 Mark has been responsible for the day-to-day management of build budgets, specifications, material procurement and subcontractors. He works alongside Ian and Tom in steering the company’s strategic growth and helps them to precisely evaluate the construction of each project. His advanced technical knowledge and ability to communicate complex details to people and trades alike, ensure that every development runs as smoothly as possible.

Sam joined us in 2019 to take control of our finance department. She brings a wealth of industry knowledge having been a freelance accountant for almost 20 years across all sectors but specialising within the construction industry. Sam is a key figure within the company, directing the finance team and managing HR, having recently completed her Level 7 HR Management Diploma to add to her talents

Katie joined Claremont Finesse in 2019 and plays a fundamental role in the running of the office. With over 10 years of administration experience and the recent completion of an Executive PA Diploma, Katie has successfully reached her goal of filling a personal assistant role. She is a reliable and organised office manager, who both proactively cares for client needs and provides directors Ian and Tom with thorough assistance and support.

Adi has worked within the construction industry for over 15 years, initially specialising in landscape architecture and design. Keen to master more facets of the construction business, he joined Claremont Finesse in 2013 as a project manager and has since overseen the daily running of developments. Adi concentrates on managing custom, bespoke builds as he has excellent communication skills and a friendly disposition that makes clients and their requirements feel cared for and understood.

Gary joined the team as a Project Manager in 2014, bringing with him a background working in structural and architectural metalwork. Having been in the construction industry for over thirty-five years, he has accumulated a vast range of experience, building luxury bespoke houses for the past twenty. Gary is responsible for the day-to-day running of projects, overseeing the early stages of development through to completion and handover. He monitors the builds with a watchful eye, to ensure that they are consistently meeting the company’s exacting standards and that the sites are running at their highest level of efficiency and safety.

Richard is key member of the on-site and aftercare team, providing a cohesive link between the internal construction team and project managers. 9 years-experience in groundworks and a City and Guilds Level 2 Plumbing qualification means that Richard has all the skills to ensure smooth operations in construction. He also heads up our after-sales team, leading our client care scheme and being available to solve any queries after the handover has been completed.
